Not impossible for Jones to win, but highly unlikely…
Relatively high D turn-out and low R turn-out. Relatively large amount of defectors from R to D compared to previous elections. (Probably traditionally R voting women or disaffected white Protestants)
It is an off-year special election, so turn-out is the key factor.
I would hate to try to poll this election.
