The New York Jets have traded CB Darrelle Revis to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for this year’s No. 13 overall draft pick and another selection next year. The deal is reportedly worth $96 million with, interestingly, no guaranteed money.

The only ‘guaranteed’ money in an NFL contract is the up front bonus payment (if there is one). Baseball and basketball are light years ahead of the NFL in terms of player compensation – something I’ll bet the owners in the NBA and MLB probably bemoan and regret.
Well, that’s two games on the “plus” side for Miami this year. We need all the help we can get.
I would have voted for him in 2012 and I would happily voted for him in 2016. He is the only Republican I would vote for because he is intelligent, articulate and above dirty politics. It would be an honor to have him as President and I can’t say that about ANY other potential candidate from any Party.
