Meanwhile in North Korea…

Tuberville wishes us a happy President's day.

So, I made the mistake of scrolling through Facebook and saw this.

In some ways, he’s not wrong; Trump is extremely consequential, perhaps the most consequential president of my lifetime, but not in the kind of way that leads one to be placed on Mount Rushmore.

Side note: I miss the days when Facebook only showed me stuff I asked to see.

Note the solemn expressions on the real faces on Mount Rushmore, vs the smirk on El Taco’s ugly mug.

My regular reminder about what a POS Tommy Tuberville is.

Tommy Tuberville Ditched Texas Tech Recruits at Dinner to Take Cincinnati Gig

Tommy Tuberville pretty much just dined and dashed on Texas Tech recruits so he could take the job at Cincinnati.

Texas Tech’s blog (h/t Big Lead) reports their former head coach is kind of a jerk.

OK, they didn’t exactly say those words. They pretty much reported on a story of their coach being disrespectful to some recruits and I filled in the blanks, as you will soon do yourself.

Apparently a group of recruits, including linemen Devonte Danzey and Sunny Odogwu and receiver Javess Blue, went with a bunch of Red Raiders coaches and Tuberville to the 50-Yard Line Restaurant during their official visit.

I asked Coach (Charlie) Weis at KU and Coach (Dana) Holgorsen at West Virginia (the same question), just so I know my relationship with them…(Tuberville) was just telling me he coached at Miami and Auburn, he coached 10 years and recruited Ray Lewis and kind of blew the question off I didn’t even realize.

The waitress brought our food out, and we thought (Tuberville) went to the bathroom, but he never came back to dinner. Then next thing I know, the next day, he made an announcement that he’s going to Cincinnati.

    Then there is this:

Patrick Mahomes shuts down Tommy Tuberville’s lies about recruiting him to Texas Tech

Patrick Mahomes has heard the slander. He’s seen the lies. He’s witnessed all the wrong people taking credit for his success and now he’s finally standing up for himself.

Nope, we’re not talking about the Kansas City Chiefs’ inane referee conspiracy. This is, somehow, much dumber than that.

In one of the most easily verifiable lies imaginable, Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville has taken credit for starting the recruitment process of Mahomes to Texas Tech.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump erroneously gave Tuberville credit for coaching Mahomes with the Red Raiders despite the fact Tuberville ditched Texas Tech two years before Mahomes’ arrival to become head coach at Cincinnati. Later on, in an interview with Megyn Kelly, the host also gave Tuberville credit for coaching Mahomes. The senator, last seen getting mocked by Tim Walz, corrected Kelly in explaining he did not coach Mahomes, but did try to take credit for recruiting him.

Tuberville then posted the video clip on his social media account. There’s just one problem: Mahomes said Tuberville never recruited him. The quarterback can’t even remember if he’s even met Tuberville.

Looks like the coach has adopted a poorly disguised confederate battle flag as his symbol in his run for governor. That should work well in Alabama.
