Nude modeling, commemorative coins, books etc. Team Trump is creating distractions away from news stories they see as bad.

Even the Huffington Post makes the headline instead about the orange idiot’s *response* to the article, when the *content* should have been the main subject of the headline.

“Trump Calls MSNBC Host A ‘Bimbo’ After She Makes Case For Voting Against Him.”

    should have been

“MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle Makes a Strong Case For Voting Against Trump, Candidate Responds with Personal Insults”.

The media is in the tank for Trump – sometimes they don’t even know it.

It doesn’t matter what Smith’s team has put together, nor what the law and legal precedents are. Even if El Felon says “I want a delay!” the Crow & Leo court will take the case up.

Should things go well and Harris wins the election, the Leo & Crow court will eventually reverse any and all convictions.

I keep seeing versions of the “Axis” story about Trump saying he might not run in ’28 if he loses in ’24. Why? Given Trump’s record of veracity, who cares? If his whims run differently next month he’ll say he plans to run in ’28 and either he never said what he said this month or it was a joke.

I’m more worried that he’ll run in ’28 if he wins in ’24. Or just stay in office without election. And the Federalist six, or by then eight, will rule that an Originalist interpretation of the Constitution upholds the Founders clear intent that IOKIYAR.

If Trump loses the ability to grift decreases a lot, so there is some urgency to grift as much as possible these next few weeks.

By 2028 the wreck would have already happened, 2024 is what to worry about.

Anyway J. D. Vance would be President by 2028 given Trump’s various health potential problems – physical, mental, neurological. Elections would not be open and fair by then, either.

@gVOR10: I was more struck by Trump’s willingness to contemplate out loud that he might lose this election. That seemed very off brand for him.

@charontwo: I keep waiting for someone to make an issue of Vance likely becoming president if that ticket is elected. Seems like it would be useful since he is very unlikable

Nude modeling is art in an art classroom. When you do it for the glossy magazines it’s to make money. It’s kind of a high grade sex worker thing. From a practical POV there is a fair amount of demand for people to provide that kind of work and if you are good at it you make lots of money. It’s kind of a shame that many people, especially evangelicals ie the Trump base, shame that kind of work but she should embrace it.

Trump says he doesn’t see himself running in 2028 if he loses in November.

I’d bet he still files the paperwork to be a candidate so he can continue to collect money to pay his legal expenses through a PAC.

This isn’t one of the listed tabs, but characteristic of them, certainly: A Trump ad focused on Georgia, the state, used a photo of Georgia, the country, to illustrate it.

Thanks, Jen. With all the countless pix of Georgia, the state, you’d think they could locate just one.

    But noooooo….

Convincing the R base he’s a “winner” after losing to a black woman would be a heavy lift. Perhaps he senses this, but I would bet he’s seeing diminishing returns from his grifting too.
