An FYI: I am a Bit Exhausted
Trump fatigue is real.

Sorry about the lack of posts today. I thought about writing about the Board of Peace or the TACO of it all over Greenland, or ICE memos that ignore the Constitution, or Sean Hannity doing his best North Korean TV impersonation, or how ridiculous people like Erick Erickson are in their partisan blindness, or about how an autopsy of Renee Good shows she was killed from the side or about how gross all the fawning Twitter posts from cabinet-level departments have been or how, yes, storming a church and protesting is bad optics and probably bad politics, but is still nothing compared to what ICE is doing, or yet agin how cowardly the Speaker is and so on, and so on, and so on.
But I didn’t have the energy.
The first three weeks of 2026 have been a breakneck mess, even for Trump. It has been difficult to complete anything like coherent thoughts on a given major issue before another one crops up!
I still have two posts that I was planning in response to some of Stephen Miller’s xenophobia back in December, thoughts about Nazi-esque propaganda (and direct slogans!) used by DHS, not to mention thoughts about Venezuela and much, much more about ICE.
Instead, I drafted an Ancient Geeks substack post on the problem with prequels that will post tomorrow, and have drafted a partial post on a potential Blake’s 7 reboot.
I will try to generate some energy to write about politics soon.
Meanwhile, if you need more SLT in your life, here are my last three AG Substack posts:

A “bit exhausted”? I envy you 😉
I’ve read two of your last three substacks. I’m skipping the Starfleet Academy one until I can watch the show.
I don’t have much to say about Lego, because I never really played with legos. But I enjoyed reading about your latest Lego build.
@Kathy:
Remember that I am know for understatement.
Let’s not forget the Jack Smith testimony to Congress, in which the GOP roasts him for being political! /forehead-to-desk-repeatedly
Take a nap before it’s too late!
@reid:
ON that vein, how many of the thousands of people responsible for assaulting ICE officers have been arrested and charged with assault? After all, as the so-called administration officials keep claiming, assaults on ICE agents are up like seven million percent or so.
I mean, other than bringing to trial people who touched an ICE agent, or momentarily blocked their path, or called them names, would never be convicted of assault in any court of law this side of the real North Korea or Mad Vlad’s Russia.
I love your insights, but we can live without for a day or three, or a couple weeks. It is exhausting. Take a good rest.
The MSM barely mention most of this stuff because no one can keep up with the scheissesturm. That and being rabid elitist centrists who are sure there’s a pony (tax cuts for them) in there somewhere. And I would add that I don’t think, say, Greenland is meant to distract from Epstein. Saying even that is sane washing. It’s all just chaos.
We are all exhausted, without having to craft a couple posts about it every day.
Thank you for doing it.
