Steve Bainbridge has turned his single blog into a hub site for three separate blogs focused on punditry, business law, and wine. This follows his having done the same thing last year and then deciding to go back to the single blog approach.

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

Thanks for giving your readers the heads up. The idea was sound (I think) but the execution was lacking last time. This time, we did it right (I think). Anyway, right or wrong, I’m sticking with this format (he said nervously).

Good luck! I’ve done essentially the same thing, although I’ve left this URL as the mostly-punditry blog and spun off numerous sideblogs. I do have a hub page at OTB Media but it’s not a big traffic stopping point.
