Via NPR:
Bush said imitations of him by Will Ferrell and others didn’t bother him “at all.” He said he loves humor and that “the best humor is when you make fun of yourself.”

Seriously, that is a very important life lesson.
All of my closest friends have a good well-developed sense of humor, and that ‘sense’ does not include always having a laugh at the expense of others. I choose to minimize contact with people for whom humor is a one way street, that is at the expense of others, never themselves.
Remember Trump at the Al Smith Dinner a few moths ago? Here’s Trump on Hillary Clinton, and remember, this is his idea of humor, “Here she is tonight, in public, pretending not to hate Catholics.” and, 63 million people voted for this brand of personality disorder.
The same could be said of Clinton, Bush 41, Reagan … hell, even Nixon could have a sense of humor about himself. Being able to laugh at yourself is a sign of psychological stability and self-confidence. These are kind of important traits for a President.
Did anybody else get those e-mails from your Republican uncle after Obama was in office for a few months? It had a picture of GWB waving with the caption, “Miss me yet?”
Yeah, now I kind of miss him.
