    OK, I think that’s a bit unfair to the kid, who i’m guessing is an 8 yr old boy, who likes to play soldier and thinks war would be fun. Now the parent or teacher assisting in this exercise . . .

    This seems to be how the typical American thinks about war. Are you sure the letter is from a kid?
