Headline:  “Nolan is 1st DFLer to take on Bachmann“

Reaction:  this video.

(And please note:  I am not at all suggesting that Nolan Ryan should brawl with Michele Bachmann, it is just that the words “Nolan” and “take on” automatically takes my mind to this event (which is why it is a “headline reaction.”  This my favorite MLB video clip of all time.  And, indeed, I was watching the game when it happened).

    Must be a virus running thru the nets this wkend. SI just posted this Friday afternoon:

    “This year at the Texas Rangers’ ballpark just won’t be the same. They are retiring the Nolan Ryan vs. Robin Ventura brawl. Anybody that’s ever been to a Rangers game knows that when that video comes on the Jumbotron, even though it’s been 20 years, the whole stadium goes completely berserk.
