The Mike Flynn case is just one of the most obvious displays of abuse of power and corruption that can be imagined.
All premised on a complete lie. The Russia, Russia, Russia hoax…hoax.

I swear to Marr*, somebody is going to say that in Cuba we’ll be greeted as liberators. They said that about Canada during the War of 1812. As true then as in 2003 in Iraq and now in both Iran and Cuba (and probably Venezuela, too).

*Mithaniel Marr and Erollisi Marr were sibling gods in the pantheon for Everquest and Everquest II.

The failure that is the Iran war is the direct result [and responsibility] of the excuses from people who think the US “should” have won all the wars.
What will be the excuse for this upcoming loss be among the knuckle-draggers when the US finally walks away from this gratuitous disaster? The Perfidious Democrats who had no power and no votes?

Not sure if they said it about Canada during the War of 1812, but they said it when we tried to capture Quebec during the Revolutionary War.

@Rob1: There is little doubt in my mind that had we treated Cuba differently post-Cold War, there would have been a regime change, or at least significant evolution, over the last almost 40 years.

@Gavin: That and the notion that wars are “won” the same way one wins a sporting contest.

@Rob1: Even 10 years ago. Obama’s Cuban thaw was killed by Trump, like Obama’s JCPOA. Seduction doesn’t seem to have ever been Trump’s style.
