A Different Democracy: American Government in a 31-Country Perspective. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas and his BA from the University of California, Irvine. He has been blogging since 2003 (originally at the now defunct Poliblog).

Wow, that just makes it worse. I love the part about how they were happier as slaves because they were going to church. Because as we all know, religion plays no part in the African American culture these days.
I have it on good authority that despite the video, the fact that this was first reported by the New York Times means it never happened.
