Who will Face the Wrath of God?

Much has been made (and mostly in tongue-in-cheek fashion) about the fact that Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac could hit the Tampa area, which is where the RNC convention will be held next week.  However, a lesser known fact is that the American Political Science Association is having its annual meeting in New Orleans next week as well.

So, will this settle, once and for all, if the GOP is right about political science?  No doubt, Representative Jeff Flake should pay close attention…

  1. If we defunded NOAA, none of these liberals would be chuckling for weeks ahead of time.

  2. Traffic jams here we come. If that tining track and strength holds out a hurricane watch will go up by Sun morning and a causeway closing tropical storm warning on Monday

The timing of the right turn is almost always the big unknown.

    Cuba, apparently.

  4. Here in West Central FL, I’m looking forward to it. The rain this year has already reached its annual average and has helped the water table nicely. But we’re six years’ rainfall below where we should be. We need a few small hurricanes.

  5. Based on God’s track record of countenancing destruction, even annihilation, of innocent citizens, I’d say everyone should get out of the way of the hurricane.
