Dog Shoots Man – NYT (gift). A story for your morning.
The NY Post noted that “Growl play is not suspected.”
This is to CSK… I am so sorry for all the pain you have had to suffer. There are some people that touch your soul a bit more maybe than others and you are one of those people to me.
Inflation News
Considering fairness and accuracy in reporting I am noting here that the price of package of 24 Kroger brand sugar free cough drops has changed from $1.49 to $1.39. There is no net weight listed on the label. I suspect because cough drops are not food.
@Gregory Lawrence Brown:
I went to BJ’s this morning. The price of a gallon of milk is twenty cents less.
I but my coffee from Amazon, and this year the cost of an 18 oz bag of ground coffee has risen from $12.00 to $16.00.
@a country lawyer: I buy cheap Kroger brand coffee for my percolator. A 29 ounce can of ground coffee was full price 9.99, but often went on sale for 7.99. This was stable pricing for several years.
Now it’s 13.99 for a 24 ounce can.
Glad I don’t do soft drinks. Liquid gold.

We created a searchable database with all 20,000 files from Epstein’s Estate To make this massive data dump more accessible, COURIER has compiled the 20,000 documents from Epstein’s estate into an easily searchable repository via Google Pinpoint. At Trump’s urging, Bondi says US will investigate Epstein’s ties to Clinton and other political foes
— because nothing screams guilt louder than deflecting to “the other guys”

Steve Bannon advised Jeffrey Epstein for years on how to rehab his reputation, texts show. Pair devised responses to public outrage about Epstein’s criminal history, his treatment by the justice system and his friendships with powerful people

@becca:
My heartfelt thanks, Becca
@CSK:
Thank you
@CSK:
So sorry to hear this, best to you during your recovery.
@CSK: oof. I hope that losing the limb at least puts an end to all of this, and you’re able to recover swiftly. But oof.
I had a grandmother who lost a leg to diabetes, and she was very fond of saying it was from a shark attack, or an escalator, or any of a large number of increasingly ridiculous claims. Gambling loss, guinea pig attack, used to be a pirate, etc.
@Rob1:
And it could be another attempt to justify not releasing Epstein files from the DOJ. For example, the Epstein Files Transparency Act under consideration by the House states,

You know, if you got a parrot, en eyepatch and learned to say, aaarrrgh. . .
