Jack Shafer has an amusing fisking of a Tuesday NYT story that’s a little mixed up about Middle Eastern geography, ethnicity, and religion. It’s subtitled, “Considering today’s New York Times story about Arabs. I mean, Muslims. No, brownish people from the Middle East. Or possibly South Asia.” It defies excerpting; just read it.
