Just as Laurence Simon, a blogging techie from Houston, finally gets hired, Ted Barlow, a blogging techie from Houston, loses his job. Bizarre.

Mrs. James Lileks is also suddenly unemployed.

Update: Kevin Aylward has more on this phenomenon. I smell a conspiracy!
