Donald Trump To Puerto Rico: Let Them Eat Paper Towels
Yesterday President Trump visited Puerto Rico to survey storm damage from Hurricane Maria, and, inevitably, the cameras caught him doing something only Donald Trump would do:
President Donald Trump’s latest viral move is paper towel throwing.
Tuesday marked President Trump’s first visit to Puerto Rico, which was ravaged by Hurricane Maria two weeks ago. During a stop at Calvary Chapel in San Juan, he came face to face with some of the U.S. territory’s residents in need of relief.
Perhaps drawing on his reality TV experience, he launched several rolls of paper towels into a crowd of residents, some of whom caught the supplies, some who didn’t.
Here’s the video:

Does nobody in this White House understand bad optics?
I can’t imagine why Tillerson called Trump a moron.
(I note that in his
asboot licking presser Tillerson didn’t actually deny having done so.)I’m sure they know about bad optics. I suspect they’re cringing on the inside when they see this happen.
What I can’t understand is why anyone is still working for this administration.
@Argon:
Because it’s the job you take when you just absolutely need a job.
The only way that video could be worse is if everyone threw the paper towels back.
@Nightcrawler: Rex Tillerson was the CEO of Exxon. Do you think he was living on food stamps in Section 8 housing?
@OzarkHillbilly: Actually that would make it much better!
