Via Axios: Rudy Giuliani served Arizona indictment same day as his 80th birthday party

Ex-Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani was served notice late Friday of his Arizona indictment in the alleged scheme to overturn 2020 presidential election results in former President Trump’s favor, per the state’s attorney general.

Why it matters: Giuliani, who was served the same day as his 80th birthday party in Palm Beach, Florida, is the last defendant indicted in the case. It made Arizona the fourth state to charge electors with falsely casting votes for Trump in states President Biden picked up.

The piece notes this rather oops! of a Tweet:

I’m sure he’d appreciate a conviction for his anniversary. Maybe along a nice “You will die in prison” card.

He couldn’t stay off Twitter for one more day (assuming he’s telling the truth about the indictment – I have no idea). Nope he had to take a sharp stick and poke Karma right in the belly. Karma doesn’t like that – remember, she’s a b*tch.

All the man had to do was join a think tank, accept a university presidency and STFU and he’d have made a good living and gone down as America’s mayor. You gotta know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em, know when to wave goodbye and toddle off the stage.

Shouldn’t he be using Truth Social? Or have he and Trump fallen out?

FWIW, the consensus among my NYC Fire Department and Police neighbors who commuted in from my upstate NY town, was that Giuliani was a POS. From there point of view he pulled the Fire Chief and Police Chief out of the chain of command while their brothers were dying, all so he could make a made for television walk from uptown.
