Mick Jagger Becomes Great Grandfather
70 year-old Mick Jagger is a great-grandfather:
Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is a great-grandfather early next year.
His daughter Jade told The Sunday Timesthat her 21-year-old daughter, Assisi, expects to give birth in several months.
She tells the newspaper she does not expect Jagger, 70, to slow down now that he’s set to become a great-grandfather. The ever-popular Stones plan to tour Australia next year.
I’m honestly not sure which surprises me more, that Jagger is a Great-Grandfather, or that he and Keith Richards have survived this long.
As Mick sang, in their mid-60’s classic, “Mother’s Little Helper”
“What a drag it is getting old”
Of course, Mick has hundreds of millions of dollars/pounds in wealth, so it’s a little less of a drag for him, right?
Long, long ago, Jagger told an interviewer that he planned to quit rocking before his fortieth birthday, because jumping around on a stage when you were that old looked ridiculous. Obviously, he reconsidered.
Their can only be one possible explanation for Jagger’s and Richard’s improbable joint longevity:
Sympathy FROM the Devil.
