Speaking of fertility politics, I would recommend the most recent episode of the Ezra Klein Show: Manliness, Cat Ladies, Fertility Panic and the 2024 Election.

    Did anyone let you know the main picture here is flagged by the owner as a hotlink and doesn’t show? Just in case you weren’t aware.

    @Robert in SF:
    Thanks for catching that. I’m looking into it.

    @Robert in SF: I got that error recently on the Original Star Trek image, but not this time.

    Jon Stewart’s new podcast is separate content from the show.
    Tech Won’t Save Us is always worth your time.
    Amicus is Slate’s USSC podcast and Dahlia Lithwick always has something you didn’t know.
    Truth or Skepticism is Dylan Ratigan and Tom Sosnoff’s podcast. If you don’t know Ratigan I can’t help you, and Tom Sosnoff created ThinkOrSwim.
    F.D.Signifier is essential material if you’re interested in anything about black culture.
    Zeteo is Mehdi Hasan’s new venture.. he was the one guy i watched on MSNBC.
    Olurinatti is the very smart public defender who made Eric Adams’ bad policies look clownish while on Charlemagne’s morning show.
    For humor, if you haven’t heard of Steve Hofstetter, you’re welcome.

    @DrDaveT:

    Hmmmm, I am still getting it. I wonder if somehow my firefox browser settings are affecting it?
    I do have an image preview pop-up add-on, and that takes me to the picture of the airpods though.
    Maybe a cache issue?

    With all due respect for you, Steven, I’d rather eat ground glass than give Ezra Klein any more undeserved attention.

  7. @Robert in SF: The funny thing is: I took that picture and as far as I know, the only place it is hosted is here at OTB! (maybe on my Flickr page, too).

    @Gavin: thank you!

    @Steven L. Taylor:

    Well maybe it’s my router/internet provider? It shows up still in post header as a hotlink warning, but not in the thumbnail on your main page. And again, if I load the image link in a new tab, it shows up properly. It’s in all my browsers (firefox, edge, safari, and mobile safari on my iPhone).

    Now I am curious if it’s just me? If anyone else sees the warning image, can you please confirm? 🙂

  10. Robert in SF says:

    @Robert in SF: Oh sorry, it does NOT show up normal if I open the image in a new tab, just if I use a browser plug in to show a preview and then open that up in a new tab.
