Outside the Beltway

We are observing an effort to embed democratically questionable sectarian norms into the day-to-day life of federal workplaces. 

Romney wants to make a federalism based argument for why his MA health care bill is good, while the PPACA is tyrannical. However, just saying that is not an argument.

Unless eliminating earmarks coincides with a radical reconception of how our government operates, it may be a step in the wrong direction.
