So, not only is Alex Jones peddling his “false flag” theories, so are Chechen separatists.
Both are blaming the FBI.

I just read the article by Adams in Infowars. This guy is spreading disinformation, pure and simple. In the first place, there are very clear videos of those two planting the bomb-backpacks. There is also eyewitness testimony to that effect. The “military spooks” were veterans who chose to run in the Marathon in full gear to honor fellow soldiers who had been killed in combat.
As for tanks rolling through the streets and a huge military presence, this is crap, pure and simple.
And, yes, there was an explanation given for the lockdown, which in any case wasn’t a lockdown but an advisory.
The military in question were the Massachusetts National Guard. They also come out during blizzards and other natural disasters, just to put this in some perspective.
Speaking of which, the alleged “lockdown” was no more than what happens when there’s three feet of snow on the ground and more to come. The governor–whether it’s Patrick, Romney, Weld, Dukakis, or any of their Democratic or Republican predecessors–gets on the radio and tv and says, “Hey, can you folks stay home and off the roads while we get this mess cleaned up? Thanks much.”
Is our government dishonest? Yes. Do they concoct sleazy plans in back rooms? Yes. Do they use the media to manipulate the public? Yes.
But people who think EVERY public tragedy is a “false flag” are… well, they’re like people who think EVERY Beatles song is a classic. It’s just insane.
There ARE people who go nuts and shoot people. There ARE people who like to create chaos in public places.
