WaPo reports that people are actually taking this Threat Condition ORANGE business seriously and raiding stores for supplies necessary to construct a safe room in their homes. The Administration is doing a lousy job in this regard, both needlessly alarming the public with constant fearmongering and simultaneously urging people to take useless precautions. If there is indeed a chemical or biological attack, stockpiling batteries and duct tape isn’t going to help.
