    Won’t be to everyone’s tastes, but I’m personally gobsmacked. Did you have the shutter cranked that high, or did the bee really have his wings extended? Wow!

  3. @Flat Earth Luddite: I will say that this photo is partially the result of how good camera technology is. I recently purchased a Canon R8. It has a great sensor, so even though this was taken at ISO 3200, it is crazy sharp. And the autofocus on this camera (and other, higher-end Canons) is f’in amazing.

    With the high ISO, I was able to take the shot at 1/2500.

    That said, what was the f stop? Insane what the technology allows, innit? I’m looking back at what I was shooting in bars with tri-x cranked up to ASA 1600 back in the day. Enlargements with grain the size of your fingernail!
