Politico reports: Lawsuit alleges Freedom Fuel gas stations touted by Trump are selling stolen fuel.

according to a complaint filed Aug. 19 by Georgia-based fuel supplier Mansfield Oil Co. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Syed Kazmi’s company KRSM acquired over 1 million gallons of fuel from a Sunoco terminal in Twin Oaks valued at around $4 million — and never paid for it. KRSM sold some of the fuel, the lawsuit alleges, to stations within the Freedom Fuel Network, which now claims to operate 29 locations.

Who could have predicted something shady was going on?

    Along these lines, is Trump thinking somebody’s going to cut costs by stealing the 300,000 metric tons of mystery meat ground beef he’s babbling about.

    Off topic, except that it’s about Trump admin BS, Phillips Obrien points out the obvious in the stories about Ratcliffe’s visit to Moscow. Even NYT should have been suspicious when a couple of WH leakers claimed Ratcliffe said just exactly what we all hope he said. Suppose we’ll ever find out what really happened?

      I think the most plausible possibility is seeking Russian help with Trump’s little Iran problem.

      Difficult to be sure. The rumour mills are spinning fast on this.
      The only thing that indicates it might have been a serious chat about something and not a bit of Trumpian/Kushnerite daftness about a “deal” of some sort is the person concerned: Ratcliffe.

      The head of the CIA is not likely to be faffing about playing messenger-boy for one of Donald or Jared or Witkoff’s half-baked improvisations, imho.

    When I saw the Politico headline ‘Lawsuit alleges Freedom Fuel gas stations touted by Trump are selling stolen fuel’, my first thought was that Trump’s Venezuelan booty was finally reaching the domestic market.
