This WaPo piece on the crowds going ga-ga over Bill Clinton at a campaign 2004 steak fry in Iowa brings two reactions:

1. I still don’t get the attraction to Clinton.

2. Why on Earth would anyone fry a steak?

    And it ain’t even the in South, where we will fry anything.

    I’m a woman who never understood the appeal of Clinton either. He’s not that good looking. Add his character flaws and there is no attraction, at least not for me. Really, he gives me the shivers. (I was going to say “willies,” but … heh.)
