Kerry Camp Deletes News Release from Web Page

Commenter Greyhawk notes that the “The 2004 GOP Convention: Four Days Filled With Lies, Mischaracterizations, Distortions, And Half-Truth” press release I blogged on this morning is suddenly missing from the Kerry-Edwards 2004 website, replaced with a 404 error. I’m unable to find a cached version on the Web. (Google’s cached version ends August 29.)

Interesting.

Update: Greyhawk notes it at Mudville Gazette as well.

Update (1744): Steven Taylor notes below that the page is back. Hmm. What’s odd is that it was missing from the Press Release listing page, too, and is now there as well. Go figure.

Update (9/7 1048): Now the page is missing again and is no longer on the listing page. Hmm. Jeff Farrell provides a mirror site.

It seems that I’ve heard somewhere that the cover-up is worse than the offense. . . .

  1. It’s back–and appears unchanged.

    The timing seems very suspicious.

  3. Paul says:

    James it’s gone again

  4. Jeff Harrell says:

Have you found a mirror of the page yet? If not, I’ve got one you can use.

  5. Marta Richards says:

I think this is incredible–a list of all the charges the Republicans leveled at Kerry WITHOUT any rebuttal!! What are they thinking? Are they stupid?
