    Just more evidence that the goal was not deporting “the worst of the worst” but continues to be about xenophobia and ousting persons of the wrong hue.

    2 points:

    1) They’ve always known that they weren’t going to get to 10 million deportations on gangstas alone (and so did the MAGAts).

    2)Being the “wrong hue” is what makes someone “the worst of the worst” (just ask any MAGAt you meet).

    I’ve complained that you need a program to keep up with the changes in the eternal, carved in stone, conservative verities, but one thing is a constant. “Immigrant” is the current racist dogwhistle.

    @gVOR10: Every societal cohort needs an enemy with which to battle. Conservatives and Republicans are fortunate in that the enemies outside their cohort are formidable enough for them that they don’t feel the strong need to pick fights in-house as liberals and Democrats seem to.

    Another reason I oppose AI — without AI, someone would have had to actually line up alligators and put ICE hats on them, and they might have had their arm bitten off.
