BBC (“Netanyahu says ‘growing signs’ Iran’s supreme leader Khamenei is ‘gone’ after US-Israel attacks“):
Following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying there are “growing signs” that Iran’s supreme leader is “gone”, we are seeing unconfirmed reports that he has been killed by US-Israeli strikes.
Reuters, citing a senior Israeli official, reports that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s body has been found.
Axios, citing a source, says Israeli ambassador to the US Yechiel Leiter has informed US officials that Khamenei was killed in the strike on his compound in Tehran.
And multiple Israeli outlets, including News 12 and Times of Israel, are citing Israeli officials also claiming that the supreme leader has died.

In different neighbourhoods in Tehran, people are cheering and celebrating, sources tell BBC Persian – people are honking horns, screaming in celebration, they say.
Reuters (“Khamenei’s body has been found and he is confirmed dead, Israeli official says“):
We’re getting more details on what Netanyahu said of Khamenei.
He said there were many signs suggesting Khamenei may have been killed as a result of Israeli-U.S. strikes.
“This morning we destroyed the compound of the tyrant Khamenei,” Netanyahu said in a video statement.
“There are many signs that this tyrant is no longer. This morning we eliminated senior officials in the ayatollahs’ regime, Revolutionary Guards commanders, senior figures in the nuclear program – and we will continue. In the next few days, we will hit thousands more targets of the terror regime,” Netanyahu said.
Iranian media are denying the reports. I’m not seeing any confirmation in US sources.
UPDATE: President Trump has issued a confirmation and media outlets are now universally treating the death of Khamenei and many of his inner circle as a fact.
