In yet another case of Fatso’s abject failures he must begin refunding tariffs today.

The U.S. has turned back 27 ships since its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz began.

The U.S. Navy has turned back 27 ships trying to enter or exit Iranian ports since an American blockade outside the contested Strait of Hormuz began about a week ago, the military’s Central Command said on Monday.

A U.S. military official also said on Monday that a team of Marines was searching as many as 5,000 containers aboard the Touska, an Iranian cargo ship that the Navy disabled and seized in the Gulf of Oman on Sunday after it tried to evade the blockade.

I wonder if there will be a seaborne equivalent of an IED soon.

If it wasn’t bad enough, Amazon has also colluded with other companies to raise prices.

The Bork doctrine that antitrust should only apply to monopolies that harm consumers has harmed plenty of consumers though excessive consolidation and worse working conditions and compensation.

I wonder how the Fixer Court will allow this to go on.

It could be a coincidence El Taco has only sacked women thus far in his cabinet…

What happens when I cook late on Sunday afternoon after a 7-day working week*? Well, for one thing, I do recall the mise en place, and then forget to add the spices and tomato sauce to the instant pot before setting it to cook.

So I added them afterwards (what else?) I wonder how much of a difference this makes…

*I worked “only” 5-6 hours on Saturday, and about 3 on Sunday. Still, that’s seven days. besides, on Wednesday I arrived at work at 7:30 am, and left at 7:45 am on Thursday. And, yes, I returned to work on Thursday around 2 pm, after getting some sleep at home.

By now it’s not the long hours, nor the lack of sleep, not even the tedium of the work involved. It’s all of those and fatigue, and being too busy to remember to order dinner, and not being able to do much else other than work, sleep, and eat. I’m feeling plain disgust at any additional project that drops (two more did this week).
