    Portuguese trains suck ass, and Lisbon’s Oriente station is a reeking, suicide-inducing shithole. Sitting in first class, on my way to Porto, and if this is first class I can only assume economy has goats wandering the aisle.

    @charontwo: You could call what the Ukranians are doing a testimonial to the value of patience and determination, as well as flexible creative thinking.

    I’m sure, though, that as soon as I do, someone will pop up to tell me assuredly it’s no such thing and patience is for betas.

    Loomis several times admits that Greenspan did the right thing at the time, which does not prevent him from making multiple below the belt comments about how evil Greenspan was.
