I just heard the news on Fox Special Report (via TiVo delay). Strangely, GoogleNews doesn’t have the story yet. (Nor WaPo nor NYT)
Update (1951): Drudge has the following: “Its not the chief judge ..its a member of the tribunal of the judges on the case…” Apparently, NBC News broke the story, originally reporting it as the chief judge.

You’ll notice it was NBC news that broke the story, incorrectly, that it was the chief judge.
I don’t know if it was an attempt to smear U.S. security efforts, or even imply that putting Saddam on trial is somehow unjust. The truth: he was not killed for his position, or support of the coalition.
But keep wringing yours hands togther, in your dark basement, where you concoct these stories for the “People’s Press”, or Bin Laden video tapes, or whatever. Be carful, you don’t want to be oppressed, or have Christian dogma “imposed” in you.
