A GIRL?!

Washington Times reports President Bush has tapped Justice Sandra Day O’Connor to lead a forum on judicial reforms in the Middle East. She’s no doubt qualified, but it is rather amusing that he’s sending a woman given their low status in the region. Perhaps he’s sending a not-so-subtle signal about how much their society needs to reform.
