  1. This just enrages me. Way to undermine good order and discipline, Hegseth.

    Hegseth Swears In Air Force General After Vaccine-Mandated Early Retirement

    Secretary of War Pete Hegseth welcomed Air Force Brig. Gen. Melissa S. Cunningham back into the Air Force during a swearing-in ceremony at the Pentagon, Oct. 23.

    Cunningham was forced to retire from service in August 2022 after declining to take the military’s then-mandatory COVID-19 vaccination.

    “What a wonderful thing it is to be standing here right now with you, with the stance that you’ve taken,” Hegseth told Cunningham at the ceremony’s outset.

    “Not only did you take a private stand in a very principled way as a warrior of conscience, but you led the way for others … and you stood courageously beside [your principles] on your faith, … which truly speaks to your character and [is] exactly, precisely, the kind of person we want to be bringing back,” he added.

    I wouldn’t let this “general” lead me to dinner.

      Dog & Pony show – Whiskey Pete is willing to overlook the general’s sin of being a woman because she subscribes to RFK Jr.’s vaccine lunacy. It will take the military years to recover from Hegseth’s ideological bullshit.

    2. Vaccines are one of the two major things, along with AGW denial, that make it clear the American conservative movement has lost its collective mind.

  2. looks like the rumors are over, The Guardian has a photo of Bolsonaro arriving in Miami. Remember when fascists fled TO Brazil, not to Trumpland.

    1. They’ve always wanted to flee to a country with a corrupt legal system they can buy at a reasonable price.

    2. I didn’t realize that there were about six Bolsonaro family members running for various positions in Brazil. I wonder how many will stay and how many will flee.

  4. Fatso is going to use the energy crisis he created to deregulate fossil fuels and exacerbate the climate change crisis.

    He also plans to deregulate refinery’s so that more can be built.

  5. MAGA Mike, yesterday;

    “Of course, we’ll have a peaceful transfer of power, but it will not be transferring because we are going to keep the majority, and I’m going to be the Speaker of the House, and I will keep steady hands at the wheel, OK?”

    A reminder, MAGA Mike refused to seat Adelita Grijalva during a pro forma session stating she would only be seated once the House returnsed from recess for full legislative business—and contingent on Senate Democrats supporting a Republican stopgap spending bill to end a federal government shutdown. That in spite of previously seating Republicans during pro forma sessions.

  7. I hope these two get totally fucked.

    Minnesota prosecutors have charged right-wing influencers James O’Keefe and Cam Higby with felony charges of unlawful voting and identity theft after the two misrepresented themselves to vote in Minnesota’s primary election on August 11.
