   We had a pond on our acreage growing up. Great Blue Herons would visit regularly, looking for fish and/or frogs. (We didn’t have a lot of fish, but there were a few carp we had planted).

   Sometimes they would perch on branches which was pretty hilarious. Everything would shake violently like a big windstorm when they launched themselves off it.
