I understand that there are a lot of people who object to his policy positions (welcome to politics!), but I can’t help but think that the GOP makes a mistake in trying to paint him as a villain (ditto some member of his own party).
At a moment in which the economy in general, and affordability specifically, is a major campaign issue going into the midterms, who would you rather have people pay attention to? The smiling Mamdani or the dour Trump?
