Happy Thanksgiving from OTB
Our erstwhile co-blogger (and dominant contributor) Doug Mataconis frequently posted this classic from our youth to commemorate the occasion, so I’ll take the liberty of doing so in his honor:
If that’s not your cup of tea, there’s always the Massacree.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
Thank you, James. Although I am no longer an OTB reader, I came in just to leave the thank-you comment to Doug (like every year) for posting this. Very nice of you to continue the tradition.
Enjoy Thanksgiving all!
Holiday wishes to all from my underground bunker in the county where we’ve increased our Covid-19 case load by ~300% over two weeks, and in the state where at the request of red counties, the department of health raised the limit for 2-week Covid case rate related to school reopening by, interestingly enough, ~300% so said counties could open their schools after Thanksgiving break this year. Major population centers will still not qualify for reopening, so that’s something, at least.
Hope you have a Thanksgiving dinner that can’t be beat!
Addams Family Thanksgiving
I’m spending less time on the site than in the past, mostly due to work, but it’s one of the things I’m thankful for this weekend.
Thank you Dr. Joyner, Dr Taylor, Doug, Kingdaddy, Butch, and the rest of the front page posters for giving me a place to vent, learn, congratulate, spew, and engage. I appreciate the hard work it takes to keep a blog like this going over several decades.
Gracious and heartfelt Thanksgiving wishes to all of the usual suspects here at OTB from a grateful lurker.
Well said, Eddie. Cracker, thanks for pointing me in this direction many, many moons ago. Keep up the great work, everyone!
James, Steven and Kingdaddy, many thanks for providing thoughtful commentary and giving me a safe place to vent. And thanks also to a Doug, who I often disagreed with but who became an honest broker. I wish you all good fortune in the coming year.
Thank you James, Steve and the others.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you so much for the good reading and thoughtful ideas!
Happy thanksgiving to you all.
